Harper and Ronconi are a fabulous combination. This one had a less paranormal world, but with plenty of paranormal haunting action. Combine that with a nerdy billionaire, snarky side characters and you a recipe that, though tasty, I've had a bunch of times before from previous novels. I was hoping the "new" setting would more stylistically distinct, but poor suffering me, I had to enjoy a breezy summer book. A solid entry into the cannon of Harper.

Really enjoyed the ghosts and all the new characters! Might have to get this on audio and reread it in the future! Review to come.

This may not take place in Half Moon Hollow or Alaska but that didn't stop me from enjoying this book. Everytime I pick up a book by Molly Harper it never fails to suck me in. I stay up late into the night/morning because I can't stop reading and usually finish each book in one sitting. I find Molly Harper's books hilarious & entertaining and I can't wait to see what she come up with next.

This book was so incredibly mediocre, I don't know where to start with it. While well written it was boring and dragged horribly for the first two thirds of the novel. I didn't enjoy the way the point of view seemed to bounce from one character to another constantly. It made it harder to feel any connection to the characters when you're not exactly sure which character's point of view you're reading from. Also straight off from the beginning I knew exactly who had really murdered Deacon's great-great grandmother. It was horrendously obvious once you deduced all the facts, which for me was almost instantaneously. I've never read anything by Molly Harper before and I have to say, I probably won't be reading anything by her again in the near future.

Cute, easy read- just was I was after to kill an evening around Halloween. Not very scary (alas) but just a touch of creepy and some quirky moments and characters made it fun reading.
