An interesting book from two excellent minds. However, this was not quite the book for me for at present, considering the ongoing genocide taking place in Palestine at this very second.
This book reads a little stilted and academic, a back and forth between two minds typically (but not always) saying, 'yes, I agree with that, and (says same thing again but slightly different)'.
I'd rather have watched this live, or heard it in a podcast, and gotten the nuance and intonation of these two men than read a back and forth dialogue summary.
Still, I did make it to 60% before I threw in the towel to move onwards to other books I can educate my shocking lack of knowledge with. The intro did summarise some points I hadn't thought of before, and explained about how the two men (and the author of this book) came together in discussion about the events in Palestine for some time.

Read something written by a Palestinian first bc these guys mean well but they don’t get what it’s like to live under Israeli apartheid

Very informative, I want everyone to read this, also kind of disheartening, since most of the events only go up to 2014... And it's just gotten worse and even with more of the public acknowledging it, US policies haven't changed yet 🙄

I really enjoyed the conversational format of this book and the narration was great. The book is most engaging if you already understand settler colonisation. It's a very extensive book without being too long either. Highly recommended!

Incredibly informative. History presented in a digestible way from reputable scholars and some of the best intellectuals of our time.
