Both pappé and Comsky allowed the audience to gain so much knowledge about the topics related to Palestinian liberation. In the beginning chapters they also offered perspectives for the audience to consider when analyzing their own personal stance regarding this issue (especially if the reader has no previous knowledge on the topic of Palestine). The facts and timeline included in the book cover political and humanitarian perspectives involving the conflicts historically in the area while also referring to past apartheid regimes such as South Africa. In my opinion the authors succeeded in drawing parallels while still holding a boundary that the two are vastly different in the treatment and tactics used to gain dominance and control of the regions they operate/d in.
