Just 2 white dudes talking about Palestine.

Less of a proper book, more of a long interview between Noam Chomsky, Ilan Pappé (an Israeli scholar), and a third person whose name I forgot. Learned some things, but it jumps around a lot and isn't really formatted as an initial foray into learning more about the topic. It's more for people who already know a bit and want to expand their knowledge by hearing 2 scholars discuss it.

This should be required reading. It is wild, but unsurprising, to see how many talking points/propaganda are gone over in this collection that exactly mirror what we are seeing in 2023--particularly from the US and Israel. Just a terrible cycle of violence for *decades*.

incredibly informative and thought-provoking. i like the way Chomsky and Pappé organized their essays and it was interesting to see their perspective on the issue side-by-side. i will echo other reviews, and say this isn’t a beginners-guide to the ongoing genocide in Palestine, it does not cover its history but more so outlines potential paths for Palestinian liberation and the role the West plays in it all. Took me a bit to get through despite being short, highly recommend a physical copy and note taking.
