mysterious tense

I think I prefer Poirot over Marple. Some of the voices this audiobook narrator uses for the ladies are annoyingly stereotypical of silly women in the early 20th century. I might have a different opinion if I had read rather than listened.

Cool one! And Miss Marple actually appears in this one!

This was a well executed, competent mystery novel, as expected by Agatha.

DID NOT FINISH: 25%

Even though i've always loved stories from Agatha Christie, i just couldnt dive into this one and it all felt rather confusing a not shocking. There were lots of unlovable characters and the murder was "meh".

3.5

Miss Marple does seem a little ditzier here than in the later books.
Plenty of twists and mini-mysteries to solve.
