An adorable graphic novel about a garlic girl who goes on a journey to protect her home from a mysterious vampire in the woods. Absolutely adored the colorful and cozy art style. The characters were so loveable! Excited to read the next book in the series <3
Short, sweet, beautifully illustrated, and even though the threat sort of stops being a threat pretty immediately and we get a happily ever after very easily, it’s still a nice look at anxiety and bravery and doing what’s right—because maybe the monsters in the shadows aren’t always so monstrous.
It worked well for me, even if you might want more fang in your book.

I actually loved this it was absolutely adorable. ☺️ going to look for the first one now too Garlic and the witch. Definitely a story kids and adults can enjoy. Garlics anxiety is very relatable.. the other vegetables weren’t very supportive other than carrot, but even then.. garlic was awesome though! And did the thing
