I still really liked this installment despite accidentally reading the two books out of order. Knowing where Garlic starts (and finishes) the sequel gave me more appreciation for her growth in this initial volume. It's so cute and wholesome. I will definitely add this one to the classroom shelves.

Such a cute read! I wish it had been longer and we’d been able to see more of the personalities of the characters, but otherwise it was a lot of fun
Super cute story with such likeable cute characters. Cosy cottage vibes. Shows that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover and that people should always believe in themselves no matter what! 😊
