This was a sweet and short little story. It was very Mila Gray. I’ve read all of her books now and they’re all pretty similar with a spin that makes them all unique. She strings similar elements into a new couple but keeps them connected in a less forthright way than a series but a more straightforward way than companions. This book was a little bit more tame in the romance side and a lot more filled with action. It certainly had its struggles and happy parts too. It wasn’t incredible or riveting but it was simple and fine and enjoyable.
AMAZING! I really enjoyed this story and felt all the emotions for the characters. I also loved that we got to see a little more of Kit & Jessa!!
I found this book in Barnes and noble and I was drawn to the cover because it looked really romantic. I started reading it unsure of what to expect because it didn’t look like a very popular book. Once I got submerged, I could not put it down. I absolutely fell in love with this story and the characters. Tristan is a protective and romantic love interest and I think that out of all the many many love stories and series’ I’ve read, he’s one of my favorite love interests. I loved the character development that Zoey gets. She starts off very timid and closed off and it’s truly magical to watch her open up to Tristan and feel emotions she’s never felt before. I can’t believe that this book isn’t getting more buzz! It was too good!!!
I loved this book so much! come back to me has been my favorite book since i first read it 5 years ago. but after reading this one, i think it’s very high up there with it. it didn’t let down. I got the romance i was hoping for along with a thriller that kept me wanting more. I finished the book in a day because i just couldn’t put it down.

1. The abundance of grammatical errors—ABUNDANCE! (spelling, punctuation, characters names, ABUNDANCE, like why.. and how!? Aren’t there jobs for this specifically not to happen?!)
AND 2. The beginning of Tristan and Zoey’s romance felt forced but smoothed out about a quarter of the way through
