As a gamer, I fell in love with this story. As a romantic, I fell in love with the characters and their willingness to sacrifice for each other. The twists were great. If you are a fan of MMORPGs, this book is a must read.

Mhhhhm książka mi się spodobała. Myślę, że nie każdemu musi się spodobać. Wydaje mi się , że trzeba lubić klimaty w których jest ta książka by się spodobała. Na pewno trzeba przebrnąć przez pierwszy rozdział i potem idzie już szybko. Ogólnie polecam ale nie wiem czy szybko sięgnę po następną część.

I read this at my daughter’s request. The story is perfectly fine. But the dialogue drove me crazy and yanked me out of the story and irritated me most of the time.

I do like the big fish, though.

I found out about this series after I started watching the anime and I have to say I really enjoyed the first book. It went more into what was happening outside of the game that I don't believe was mentioned too much in the anime. The book also stuck to a lot of the main events of the storyline since the second book goes more into the side stories of season 1. For a translated version of the story it wasn't too bad. The anime was pretty true to the book and made it feel like I was reading a highly detailed manga instead of a light novel. I'm looking forward to reading book 3 once the anime gets far enough ahead in the story.

I really enjoyed this read! This novel, to me, is the type of book thats like a dessert. It hasn’t really got any deep substance to it, but it’s incredibly fun.

Just like dessert, it’s not something you want too much of, but for a fun treat. Don’t take it seriously, don’t expect amazing musings on philosophy or anything serious that affects the real world. It’s a bit of a self-insert first person story, and it seemed like the author had fun writing it.
