As much as I could relate to this book and how close to home it hit, I just think I am not quite into the police officer trope in this particular book. Now I am not saying I hate it and it’s possible I can like it but this was the first book I read that in and I didn’t enjoy it a much as I have others. The plot line was well developed and at the effect speed for the story. It just wasn’t enough touch her and you die for me. 🫶🏼
