Lie to me. A good book about growth, overcoming fears, and love. Now I just need a book about Leah and Peter.

Emma and Reed are clearly a great match and if there were not so many other books I want to read I might suffer through the 5-ish hours left in this audiobook. I feel like this story is dragging and all I am hearing is how Emma wants Reed but hates that she wants him. I have no doubt that her childhood experiences with her mom have severely impacted her. I just can not bring myself to keep listening to Emma continue to have conversations with herself instead of voicing her thoughts with those around her trying to help.

Really liked this. She's a tortured soul who's been through a lot and he's a tough guy but soft with her. I did enjoy but kinda hate that it's a cop romance.
