Cool collector's book about the force. It's a textbook about the force and the Jedi order. Fun read for the Star Wars fan.

Interesting, fun and cool to read even if all of it isn't accurate anymore with the change in canon and legends.

This book is a blessing for every Star Wars fan who wants to know little details of The Galaxy.
I learned so much with this one and it was very enriching

5/5 stars.

i LOVE the annotations from the various jedi, it's so fun to see. i also love how the book addressed so much about the structure of the jedi order. wild.

Spoileri also liked the foreshadowing from both dooku and anakin's annotations. sidious pissed me off. as always. but yoda slayyyyyy

The margin notes remind me of Harry Potter's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Quite amusing, and makes you wonder how several generations of Jedis shared one heavily-doodled book.

I particularly loved the lightsaber-centered and Marks of Contact chapters. Those chapters jumped around a bit, though.

Even if your only experience with Star Wars are the six movies, you can still read this book and not feel too lost. I haven't read any of the novels or watched Clone Wars, but I still enjoyed this.

An amazing companion to the Star Wars Universe, it gives so much information about things that fans might not normally consider i.e. what happens to the Jedi who fail their trials? What makes it even more special is the wonderful and often hilarious notes by characters we all know and love. It really does make you feel like it has been handed down from Master to Padawan, and finally falling into Luke's hands.
