This is my favourite book of all time, just read it after 4 years again and loved it. this is such a classic, gothic ghost story and it really sucks you in to the world, i felt like it was all happening to me which made it so much more terrifying. i struggled to put this book down, it is amazingly well-written, i would strongly recommend!!!

The Woman in Black is an amazing horror story that I really enjoyed. The suspense was amazing and the tension was built up perfectly.

The buildup was really suspenseful, but the story kind of felt flat at the climax. 

The ending was improbable - the ghost had never followed someone to another town. Samuel had even stated it would be the one of the town’s children that would suffer.
