I absolutely love Margaret Atwood, and The Handmaid’s Tale is one of my favourite books. Unfortunately I didn’t like this — the multiple points of view didn’t hit right for me, and it felt too much like she was trying to deliver a message of hope after so many people resonated with the first book in such a negative way rather than just write a good book.

I loved this! I think the original book is still a standalone and can be interpreted either way. But I liked how this felt more modern and direct while weaving stories together. It gave a lot of depth to more women in Gilead and I tore though it!

4 Stars ⭐️. I think I liked this better than the first book. Excellent story and characters. Really enjoyed the format of the POVs. Great Conclusion.

Fue una muy buena lectura. Reconozco que el inicio se me hizo confuso, pero ya cuando entendí la dinámica de relatos no pude orar de leer.
Ahora bien, disfrute mucho la historia, sí, pero también sentí, al igual que con el primer libro, que me faltó información al final, que ese simposio no me entregó lo que quería saber. Solo por eso las 4 estrellas.
