Es buenísimo. Es terrible también, igual que El Cuento de la Criada, pero es buenísimo. Reconfirmo la ciencia-ficción/distipías como mi género favorito. Da mucho que pensar y da mucho miedo también.

I'm not sure why this gets so much shade in the reviews; I thought it was a decent sequel. Some reviews ask the question: was it necessary? Well, no book is really necessary. I only read The Handmaid's Tale for the first time this year and I was very happy to learn that there was a sequel. Some of you will have had to have waited for 35 years, while I got to dive right in. I also finished the TV show quite recently and enjoyed that too. It's such an interesting universe to explore, and although the ending of The Handmaid's Tale was pretty much perfect, it was nice to get closure on what happened afterwards.
