“How easily a hand becomes a fist.”
I was CHEERING for Agnes and Jade.

Parts of me felt the rage and spite from Aunt Lydia DEEP in my core.

If you’ve read handmaids tale you MUST read this.

Lighting it ablaze from the inside with some help from the outside. ❤️‍🔥

Absolutely excellent!! I'll admit I didn't have high expectations for the sequel, especially with the Hulu series' popularity and cultural resurgence of The Handmaid's Tale. But Margaret Atwood's brilliance has not diminished at all. The Testaments is chilling and touching and provides unexpected character perspectives. A masterful work.

Excellent sequel. Much more intense than the Handmaid's Tale and features more graphically mentioned SA, su*cide attempts, and general abuse which can be a lot.

This book can be read without reading the Handmaid's Tale, but I recommend reading the books in order as they're better that way.

He disfrutado mucho con esta continuación de El cuento de la criada. Pensé que tendría incongruencias con la serie, pero creo que más o menos todo encaja. Y siempre viene bien ver el punto de vista de otro grupo, en este caso el de las Tías.
