Schwartz's Scary Stories #3 is definitely the darkest book out of the trilogy, in terms of the stories and the illustrations. I like all three books, but this book has the stories that disturbed me the most. However, with horror, one must remember that what scares you may not scare me. My favorite stories in this book are: The Appointment, The Bus Stop, Just Delicious, Hello, Kate!, Bess, Such Things Happen, Sam's New Pet, Maybe You Will Remember, The Red Spot, No, Thanks, and Strangers. What a way to end the trilogy, would reread all three books again.

Another nostalgia read. Started off strong, then kind of tumbled into boredom. No new favorites but my previous favorites still hold up.

I liked this one a little more than the second one. These are meant to be read out loud but it’s a fun intro to thriller horror stories

First one is still the best, a bit of overlap with this one, but still good! And nostalgic as well.
