Wow!
This was awesome!
I couldn’t put it down!
The writing was solid and the storyline was terrific!
And the ending was unexpected!
I loved the structure and the development of the story.
That’s it for now, as I passed my bedtime.

Allen Eskens is one of those writers that I know is not going to disappoint. In his quite, gentle style he can tell a story that is full of emotion, character and plot. I get drawn in every time and his books stay with me. This one did all that. Well written, great characters (enjoyed knowing Boady as an aging adult), engaging plot. All the way through I had my instincts for what was true but he still managed to keep me questioning and also give a little twist at the end.
