As a new F1 fan, I found the first 3/4 of the book a helpful and interesting explanation of the sport’s history. With that said, and as pointed out by another reviewer, the authors messed up at least one basic fact (Valtteri Bottas isn’t Estonian) and their weird erasure of Jules Bianchi felt gross, so it makes it a bit hard to trust that they got everything else right.

This book is a perfect blend of F1 history on and off the track. It hits all the on track highs that most F1 fans know and supplements them with the behind the scenes info that made those moments possible.

I would recommend this to any F1 fan, awesome read!

As someone who came to Formula One because of Drive to Survive, this book was really enlightening and really interesting and definitely a must read for younger fans to grasp the history of the sport in a very condensed format
