You can see they're need to showcase F1's way to the USA. But I kinda of adored that it did even though it's such a Europea  sport & as a Brit I will argue that we deserve it more till the day I die. It did give a lot of insight on topics I do already know quite a bit about but I will always love small tid-bits I didn't know before. I loved how the writing was almost circular but not quite, just like a circuit. As a fan of the sport & a large one at that I think it gave a lot of insight not a lot of people would appreciate or know about.

I took my time with the audiobook, but I really enjoyed the experience. Any long-time, very knowledgeable f1 fan will probably not get a lot of new information out of this, but I think it's still worth the read. Personally, I learned a lot about the history of the sport, but I think what made this really worthwhile was the style. Unserious and genuinely funny, I must admit that I was chuckling at many of the takes on some of the sport's personalities.
Anyone expecting an unbiased approach would be a little disappointed, though. It's not overt, but the narrative does skew in favor of certain perspectives from time to time. I did also enjoy the parts about pre-Liberty Media f1 a lot more than when they discussed the current era. Probably because this is what I'm more familiar with, so I am a lot pickier about the perspective offered.

Still, a solid fun time.
