I started watching F1 because of Drive to Survive, so all the older stuff was news to me. I think this book tried to do too much for the scope it decided, which ended in a disjointed feeling for me.

as someone who got into f1 via the manhole cover issue in the las vegas ‘23 grand prix being on the news & drive to survive… and who is now watching every practice and technical show this was a great read for me as i get more into f1 history 

also man max is constantly talking about how’s gonna retire sooner than later and i feel for him— in this book & in every other presser. gotta love him tho.
