I love her writing style so much. Her characters often have baggage or differences of some sort. And I love that too.
Nate and Zoe were adorable. I love that these characters are connected to her other books. Zoe starts out in GA with Shay and Victor. I adore victor so even a passing reference made me grin.

Thoughts: SO happy with this book, I absolutely loved this couple and loved meeting the whole family, minus her mom and sister, but I'm hoping they shape up. Cannot wait to continue book 2. Really enjoyed this beginning!

So for the first half of the book I was thinking this would be a 3 or 3.5 star book for me - it was sweet but perhaps not memorable. But the second half took a sharp downturn in my opinion. It became overly cheesy and the writing started to get on my nerves. Not to mention the way the hero's 12 year daughter acted was not at all realistic - she spoke and acted like an older teen and not a preteen. There was also a weird, from out of nowhere villain arc thrown in that ultimately had no impact on our MCs - all it did I suppose was move their relationship to an even more frenetic pace than it had started. Sigh.
