Once again, I wasn't disappointed with this short & quirky mystery. One thing that did bother me though is that there was no growth from the FMC. This is book 4 & she still doesn't have full control over her magic & makes the dumbest mistakes magically. There should have been at least a little bit of growth from her. Meanwhile, her boyfriend, who isn't even magical, actually seemed to have quite a bit of growth. It's just baffling to me.
