This was a very interesting take on the “girl goes missing whodunnit” idea. I think she presented a lot of complex issues pretty well. The plot twist is a bit ridiculous but I don’t mind that honestly. It is slow moving but I was engaged the whole time.

Not as good as the family upstairs, but was still a fun fast paced mystery/ Family Drama. I predominantly listened to this as an audiobook. I would say that the book also did a good job of highlighting Incel culture and the realities of it, It was clearly well researched.

This was a pretty average thriller. It was hard to get into at the beginning, as there were too many characters and too much going on. However, it did pick up in the middle and was an engaging read. The plot was good, and it was a decent mystery. Although I’m not sure how to feel about Owen’s incel storyline. Some characters also felt unnecessary for me too. The ending fell fell flat for me and was a little bit underwhelming and slightly predictable.

I definitely enjoyed this book, it just wasn’t something that stands out on the shelf, or in the genre for me. Good for those that just enjoy the average thriller.

I’m sorry but literally nothing happened. Like everything was so obvious. I’m he characters had like no personality. One POV was literally so unnecessary. I just did not emoji this at all. I was beyond bored. That being said I do like the topics and discussions about relevant and serious topics.
