Another good beginner level for the thriller genre. I felt intrigued throughout the entire book. I throughly enjoyed it.

I did not really enjoy this book. I didn't hate it, it was actually well written. But the story fell flat for me. I never connected to it, I kept waiting for something, anything, to happen. It was a quick read, but I was glad when it was over so that I could move on.

Please note that there are a TON of trigger warnings you might need to look up.

I’m sorry but literally nothing happened. Like everything was so obvious. I’m he characters had like no personality. One POV was literally so unnecessary. I just did not emoji this at all. I was beyond bored. That being said I do like the topics and discussions about relevant and serious topics.

I surprisingly liked this book a lot. It took me a moment to get into the characters' heads, but I eventually found that I couldn't put the book down and had to stop reading it before bed because my heart would race. At times, I wondered if people actual thought the way the characters did, but I eventually put that away for the plot. I particularly enjoyed Saffyre's arc.
