I always enjoy a book with multiple perspectives and the progression of the plot was good. The resolution feels a little anticlimactic.
once Roan was shown to be having an affair it was suspicious and then we find out about Harrison and it’s obvious it was going to be a combination

The last chapter had a little shock but other than that I didn’t find it a real page turner with any twists and turns but I also read a lot of crime genre books.

A pointless thriller with nothing to really say about its featured subject of sexual assault and a shockingly small amount of faith in its own story if the amount of cheap chapter cliffhangers and needlessly withheld information is anything to go by. Exceedingly plain writing. Not to mention an ending that basically amounts to "well we decided we wanted to be better, so now we are :)".bI will give it credit, though, for actually holding its incel character somewhat accountable, which is more than I thought would happen when his gross ass point of view started. A very strong voice for the one first person narrator, but the other two third person narrators were indistinct at times, and the ultimate twist is easy to see coming and not in a foreshadowing way in which you can solve the mystery yourself in a satisfying way, simply in a "I know this character is going to be part of the twist because we are not supposed to question them." Mediocre overall. Fine for what it is, but definitely something I will readily tell people I only read because it was gifted to me.

Lisa Jewell, once more does it again. The twists and turns of this book made it a page turner from the very beginning

Overall a solid mystery, but it took me a while to get over how "pick-me" all of the teen characters are written. It was like inserting YA characters into an extremely adult storyline. The resolution of Owen's storyline was infuriating.
