Are y'all for real? No bffr. Can't believe im saying this but i liked 1984 more than this. Bruh girlie doesnt know boundaries. Simon just idk a mess. It was semi okay until chapter 16 it all went downhill and made me uncomfortable and angry and disgusting. The ending made no sense what so ever 0 stars.

-10000000 stars for the SA that is just brushed under the rug like it didn't happen. I understand Daphne's point that Simon needed to let his father go and live his own life, but it definitely didn't need to happen in that way. She has been and remains my least favorite Bridgerton ✌🏻

That being said, now that I'm into it with this series, I still have some hope that the following books keep getting better in quality just like the show does! If anything, I know I'm not experiencing a paragon of literature/historical romance here, but I'm nothing if not nosy, and I want to know what happens to everyone!
