The University for young criminals to advance their knowledge of all things to be the perfect addition to their families criminal empire.
It’s such a cool idea! I love this take on mafia/organized crime.
I enjoyed the previous book very much and this one was great as well.
This is the last book in this series so there is a lot to be revealed and loose ends to be tied up.
“The Spy” has been mentioned and teased in previous books so I had a lot of excitement for this book and I was so interested in finding out who the Spy was and what they were trying to accomplish.

It switches between the present and past, I enjoyed the glimpses of the past and how it slowly reveals the motivation of The Spy. The scenes from the past give a lot of important information and it’s done a way that kept me interested and enjoying the story.
There’s intrigue, emotions, steamy times that are very hot, and action!
The story was never boring, I was invested and interested throughout the book.
The pace was great, the look into the previous generations lives was really interesting. I loved it.
It was really very enjoyable, interesting and fun.
At the end there’s a check in (epilogue) on all the characters from the series, I think it’s necessary for closure, it was a bit “too perfect “ for me, however I would have been disappointed not to know where they are and what they’re doing so I think it’s a just one of those things. It’s a small thing in the broad scope, I was still riding the adrenaline from the end of the story so I think I wasn’t ready for calm closure.
Overall I loved it, really enjoyed it and think it’s a fun and unique book and series.

Finally the culmination of the series that brings together all the plots and pieces. As suspected, Ares is the spy. We see Ares facade of a personality crumbles in his interactions with Nix. Unlike all the other books in this series, although we have Nix and Ares, I like how the story is centered around them, but not really. I like how the story arc about Rafe, his parents, his family, and how they are betrayed unfold. I also like to read about how Nix has to swallow the bitter pill that the father she loves and admires hides a million truth about himself from her. And how he is not always who she thinks he is. I especially like to read about the brotherhood and camaraderie between these troubled mafia kids to rescue Rafe's father. And that epilogue, I think it's one of the best epilogues in a series.

Ok at first, this was not the book I wanted. I was bored and a little irritated, but then after a POV came into present day and other povs started picking up, I was glued to the story. I couldn't put it down. I needed to know what was next, what plans were being made, and how it was all going to work out. I can honestly say, while I suspected Ares from the get go, I didn't expect who is father was or what was really going on. There was a lot of mess and plot points brought to a head. Hedeon's parents story is actually sad, except for his dad. I'm glad that he got his happy ending regardless of what his past is. I also love the epilogue of every single couple and how they are all doing. This book was a lot. But worth the initial slog!
