Thorough history of the BPP
This book punched me in the throat on the last line but I still loved the book!!!!
Excellent history of the Black Panther party in the United States, their successes and errors, internal splits, and the violent repression they faced from the state. Detailed accounts of activities popular and unpopular, legal and illegal, violent and nonviolent as well as the evolving goals, politics and official standards of conduct for party members.
