Man! I listened to the audible of this book on Friday morning, while I worked and thought I would finish over the weekend... I couldn't stop listening! I listened to it all day Friday, even while cooking and dealing with my kids, and finished it right around dinner time. It was so good, so emotional. I have such respect for first responders, and I loved this book and how it portrayed the professions. Truly a fantastic read, and I can't wait to try out more by this author, this was my first, and I loved her writing style. Especially the dialogue and how she told the story through the male and female points of view.
Fear has two meanings. Forget everything and run. Or face everything and rise.

This was such a feel good story...I definitely liked this one better than the first...those Malone boys man, what is not to love. I really liked Dylan and I loved her and Grady together. This was the perfect blend of feel good, sexy and heart wrenching. This one definitely brought on the feels. I wasn’t irritated with Grady’s battle, I knew he had to work through it. I felt his anguish and hesitation....and Dylan was the perfect balance to that. They help heal each other. This was great...Bromberg will forever get my dollars as long as she continues to write, I will always be a fan! 4.5 Stars.

“Because I want to give you all of those things. I told you once I didn’t want to be your whole world, but rather the part you were in. I lied. It isn’t enough. It’ll never be enough with you.”
