Most of the Warcraft books are shallow in a way that I kind of like. This one however felt rushed and unnecessary. The story fills in the gaps between the WC2 addon and TBC but it wasn’t absolutely necessary.

I mean, yay Warcraft-book, but it wasn't really all that good.

I was worried I would have trouble with this book like I did with the last Warcraft book I read - but I didn't. This one had the added love story to the fight scenes and the story seemed more personal. Honestly had this element not been added this book would have been a bit of a drag. It really picked up just past the halfway point for me.

Love WoW & am a big lore geek :)
It's always nice to read the stories behind the game world you're so emerged in for hours on end. Can't say the book is superbly written, but that's not really the point ;)
