2.75 - I liked this a smidge more than the first because there was a little more magic, but it was lacking again. I like the idea of the rivalry, and wish it were explored more. And honestly, the end was rushed! I could have used a few more chapters on figuring out what was going on and then the actual peak scene. Why was that not even described or written out?! There was barely a moment to even sense the tension and then poof! All was right with the world. I get that it’s romance, and cutesy, but come on! Even then, there wasn’t a lot of romance either - it went through dislike to love in a blink.
