“If we could stop loving people, life would be so much simpler”.
I loved this one. This is the second book in The Ex Hex series. I think I liked this one more! I feel like there was more story here and a lot more romance. I absolutely loved this.
Wells is Rhys brother from the last book and Gwyn is Vivis cousin! It was so cute to see their story after loving Gwyn in the last book. There was a third book announced and I’m hoping it’s about Aunt Elaine!
This is the cutest read for spooky season and both are really short easy reads. I got through both books in about 3 days!

Tbh this felt exactly like the ex hex, in just a slightly different font. Still enemies to lovers and still about a curse on one of the main couple.
Both grudges on the Penhallows felt forced. Gwyn literally hates Wells bc one time he asked if someone needed help during her class and then more recently he didn’t come to his brother’s wedding. Like calm down and touch some grass. Also, I wasn’t a huge fan of Gwyn in the first book and that impression did not change throughout this book. I have no opinion on Wells, as he was like a cardboard cutout at a gas station.
Will I read the third one? Yeah. At this point, I gotta see the series through. Let’s hope it’s not another slightly different font from the first two books.
