I think I liked this better than The Ex Hex, actually! Gwyn was more entertaining as a leading lady. I also enjoyed the overall story better than the first, with the exception of how quickly everything was resolved at the end...maybe the third will explain that better?
This was a fun, cute book that had a really great balance of romance and plot. I like the fact that the romance has influence over the plot but it doesn’t smother it and the story is a very easy read in that you can just sink into the story and the world. All the characters are unique and distinct while also being endearing - and Sir Purrcival is certainly a highlight!!
My only gripe is with the Welsh aspect - you think I’d not be able to get enough of a story that actually includes Wales, but they get some of the Welsh language stuff wrong and it feels clunky, and the pronunciations in the audiobook are so English and wrong that it feels ‘off’. Oh well. Overall, I had fun! If you liked the first one, I’d recommend moving onto this one too! moving onto this one too!

When I first started, I thought "oh no, Vivi and Rhys are not the main couple.. I don't think I care enough about Gwyn to read a whole book with her being the main character" - and oh boy, was I wrong!
"The kiss curse" is definitely the best book out of the two and I had no idea I would enjoy it so much - miles away - than the first one.
Gwyn is such a fantastic character, her life, her store.. everything about her made her likeable to me. And her pair.. oh my, I'm speechless
