I’m so disappointed in this book! I was really looking forward to it after loving The Ex Hex but it just fell flat for me. It’s not a terrible book just kind of boring and lacking the romance I was expecting
Full disclosure I have the vaguest of memories of the ex hex but I feel like I liked it better ? This felt like a true sequel - a little rehash of the first story with different characters. I enjoyed it while it was happening though
I’m all in for this series. Sterling’s romances are smart with strong female characters. Perfect fall reads.
I love these books. They are so cozy. While the "twist" was a little predictable in my opinion, it couldn't have worked in any other way because nothing else would have made sense. Very cute story, perfect for this time of year.
I was super sceptical to read the sequel because of how much I loved the 1st one but I loved it just as much.
