4 assassin plotting stars ⭐️

This is definition warm fuzzies. I’m so glad I could read this book while it was still summer. It gave all the vibes that I needed. The main plot is very centered around the family game of assassin. It isn’t in the background, you’re in the game.

I think this story has the most believable 3rd act conflicts. And the resolution for Mer not to, was also perfectly realistic and still warm and fuzzy. Especially since Mer and Stephen were in day 6 of their relationship.

My love for Wink and Honey… wow. Those grandparents crawled into my heart. I want to believe their advice is how a wholesome, loving grandparents are. I also loved them being grand Marshalls for the assassin game.

The fates did align Claire, 100%. Im glad you read the tea leaves and gave him her phone number.

They meet at a family member’s wedding and their relationship blooms over their stay and the annual assassins water gun game.

Predictably good

Good, but predictable- which is sometimes exactly what you want. Definitely a good summer beach read. Light hearted and endearing.
