A perfect summer read! I want to visit Martha's Vineyard and play a giant game of assassin while falling in love!
I thought K.L. Walther did a good job of capturing teens in the last summer before going off to college. They felt hopeful and young (but not in a condescending way) while still feeling independent and ambitious. I also thought the author did a good job handling grief while still making the story overall joyful.
There were a couple of lines of dialogue that felt a little cringe to me (but that might just be because I'm a little older than the target audience). Overall I really enjoyed this sweet story and recommend it to anyone looking for a heartfelt summer read!

The sub-plot of Eli was fantastic! I need to add an edit of all my thoughts but it was good but kinda cheesy book
SO GOOD. loved the romance, but adored the setting and summer vibes even more. hitch me to witry <333 definitely going to re-read this summer

A very fun summer read. There were some sad moments throughout but it made the happy moments so much brighter. I loved the character development and the way they interacted with each other. It was a very wholesome story and it was a very easy read. Would highly recommend!
