The start wasn't good for me honestly, but since this is fiction, somehow I have to remove my conscience on that one, she was still taken against her will. But I loved the story once she became the Aruna. I am kept on my toes waiting for the time Cy will finally have his way to mate her. Only for this to end up in cliffhanger tho, now I'm scrambling to find the next book hahaha. I love complicated RH relationships like this, they are so open and no hindrances of sexuality just love in it's emotional form.

This book was a wild ride. I wanted to like the book. It was an intriguing concept and, as someone with no werewolf knowledge, I was ready to learn. The smut was enjoyable and I definitely liked it. The thing is, though, there was so much of it but then also attempts of starting this big, intensive plot at the same time? It felt like getting whiplash from smut scene to world-breaking news then immediately back to smut. There was no balance or breathers.
I really disliked our leading lady. She was naive and downright dumb at times. For a woman who had to survive on her own since she was young, she didn’t show it.

The book ended on a cliffhanger and do I plan on reading the next book? No. I really want to like this series but … :/

I’m not quite sure how I feel about this book. Everything just starts happening and doesn’t really stop. There’s a lot of world elements that are intriguing but mostly confusing. I’m just a bit ambivalent about it? Like I want to keep reading but also I don’t. The characters are a bit scattered with a lot of personalities mixing and then another one gets added halfway through. A lot of things don’t make sense, which is why I want to read on, but I’m not sure how satisfying a conclusion will be given how astronomical they’ve made Reanne’s powers out to be.
