Three storylines from Avengers Prime, Avengers, and New Avengers. All pretty good with the usual excellent dialogue from Bendis (I love his Spider-man).

Bit of a sausage fest, but gorgeously done. Laugh out loud funny, as the people on my bus ride yesterday can attest to.

A daunting number of characters. I’ve been reading Marvel comics on and off for 30 years and I still had to look up quite a few. But they all had distinct voices, and I know really want a comic book where Tony Stark, Wolverine, and Spiderman spent most of the time quipping at each other.

Still don’t get why Hawkeye has a lavender costume.

Never have read any Avengers material unless it was in X-men comics. I saw this collection in my book club i order from for a very decent price so i knew i wouldn't be disappointed it. And i wasn't. It has 3 different Avengers titles and my favorite was probably where the Avengers have to visit the future to prevent a catastrophe that involves their children. It was so fun to see the kids and especially Thor's daughter. I must admit not having read any previous title from Avengers that i was lost a few times having just jumped in, but i still enjoyed it. I would love to start an Avengers series, but there are so many i wouldn't know which one to start with??

It was a collection of different story arcs, but they were well done and fitted into each other perfectly. I have to admit that I loved the dialogue and the feel of all the characters. The banter felt quite natural and I found myself laughing outloud several times when reading Tony's banter as well as his interactions with Thor and Steve. It felt like a good, strong camraderie and I loved that.

Minor characters also got good lines (Jessica Drew and Spiderwoman come to mind) and as always, Carol Danvers got to shine as well. I loved this collection and am glad I bought it.
