Very OOC for the most of the characters, but the excuse for that was made somewhere in the middle of the story. Cute and funny and light, don't expect any depth here.

Close family is involved, but all are grown ups.
Cheating is the main theme, but don't fret - we are talking about Greek Gods here and their amorous escapades. Safe to read ;)

Read in new collection.
Entertaining enough but lacking in the romance.
This story had more povs than just the MCs, pretty much all the Gods involved got to share their thoughts. And while this probably gave a more rounded story, the romance suffered because of it. There wasn't enough page time to develop the relationship properly. It started as insta-love (after a distinctly dub-con first meeting) and while the MC claimed True Love had blossomed I never felt it.
Also Ares was a bit of a smug git regarding his warmonger talents and didn't live up to his own boasts.
The original story is ten years old and unfortunately I think it shows in places.

Most of this book was just plain amusing and all of it was entertaining. Ares and Dion were great characters together and on their own. I liked how they strongly they effected one another in and out of bed, and how they improved one another as well. Click here to read the rest of my review.
