A story about heartbreak, tragedy, growth, second chances and love.
This book was packed with an emotion bomb. The author did an amazing job with the characters, the storyline and getting everything from what was to what is and what will be if you just give it a chance.

the reason I rated it 4 is because I almost didn't give this book a chance because the beginning is a little hard to get into because it's slow, there's a lot of building but please do NOT feel discouraged. I'm glad, super glad that I not only gave it a chance but stuck with it till the end. WARNING you will catch a serious case of "the feels" with this book.

(Now I'm going to read book 1 because I started off with book 2)

To be honest, I didn't like Ruby at the beginning of the book. I get her background, but she was a grade-A bitch. I also had mixed feelings about Ty once they grew up. Dex sounded hot, but was living in the past, and so was Sam. I felt sorry for Joe, and loved Jash (what kind of name is Jash, anyways?).
I warmed up to Ruby halfway through the book, and by the end I was cheering her on. I was internally yelling at Dex for being such an ass.
The end of the book had me in tears. All the emotions, I could see the scenes in my mind as clearly as they were written.

The major problem I had was that it didn't seem like the book had seen any proofreading. There were words that were spelled correctly AND incorrectly on the same page, sometimes a sentence or two apart. There were many error with apostrophes as well.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I am reviewing this book for Kylie's Fiction Addiction.
