I remember reading this play in high school in English class. I really enjoyed it. I'm thinking I might try to find it again so I can remind myself of how much I actually enjoyed this play and acting it out with my classmates (and continually remind myself how one of them accidentally said incest instead of what was actually on the page and chuckle at the memory).

I listened to a full cast audio recording of this book, but I have also read it once before in high school. Even knowing what happens at the end, it is still so tense to see the characters arrive to the conclusion themselves. How confident they are in their positivity that whatever tragedy has incurred Apollo's wrath, it has nothing to do with them. The slow descent into realization as all the pieces are brought together and the truth illuminated. It really is a masterpiece in mystery telling, and a wonderful tragedy.

For 22 years I avoided reading this story. I knew the story, I never had to read it. Unfortunately, I ran out of luck.
