What's not to love about insane Greek tragedy??! It's not called the Oedipus complex for nothing! Talk about your original plot twist! Well-written, fantastic use of literary devices, and unique take on the idea of fate.
Good play, my favourite part was when some random messenger showed up and explained Oedipus' entire life story to Oedipus himself.
This was HILARIOUS at times. Just a tad bit dramatic but hey, that's what drama is for I guess. -badum-ch-
Kind of disturbing, but in the way that all Greek tragedies are.
We read this as part of my senior AP English class. They were my favorite books of the year.
