This one gets five stars from me because this book definitely delivered on the promise of an obsessed and crazy hero and a storyline that definitely tested my dark romance reading boundaries and for that I freaking loved it.
I have to say though, Silvan quite literally was dancing on the thin line between redeemable and oh-no-he-didn't-do-that to wtf is wrong with him, yet there was something so brilliant about the way this book is written that, you keep on wanting to know what line Silvan will cross next and also to know what makes him click albeit reluctantly but definitely wanting to.

Right from page 1, we are taken into Silvan and Sophie's world where Sophie, for the first time, finds herself tangled up in Silvan's web as she comes on his radar.
Her one attempt at socialising and going to a party, just ends up putting her in the spotlight and once the hunter has set his eyes upon her, there's no escaping his trap then.
Be ready for madness, an obsession for passion but only with the one girl that Silvan is besotted with right from the first glance.
This one will test your limits because Silvan is a man who is a weird mix of sweet because he'll literally go to any limits for you and fulfill anything and everything that you desire but at the same time will not hesitate to destroy anyone who tries to harm you or even looks at you.

I have to say, Ms. Mariano is definitely one of my absolute favourite authors when I want to read really Dark Dark heroes who are obsessed with their babes and a ride that will not let me put down my book at all.
I remember reading Dare and Audrey's book , which is book 1 in this series and falling head over heels in love with Ms. Mariano's writing and this was no different.
Ahhh... Absolutely loved this one.
PS: Only in the book fantasies will Silvan ever have a place in my heart.๐

This is basically like Sophie surrender that I read before, but then there is the added scene. Basically a short novella called sleeping beauty.
When I tell you that has been running through my mind since I ended the book and coupled with the authors notes in the end Iโm just like I donโt know what the coupling is going to be in the next book!
Thatโs all I can tell you, but still an amazing book!
