I gave this book 5 stars because out of the 3 books in this series, this was my favorite. I liked this couple the best. The subplot of the book was kind of lame and it is very spicy. So reader beware...

Truly my favorite of the Knockemout series. The history between Lucian and Sloane has been this looking mystery throughout the first two books and we FINALLY get to hear it all. LOVE IT!

This book is the third and last book in the Knockemout series. I absolutely loved the previous books and I was so happy to finally find the time to read this book. In TWLB we follow Sloane and Lucian their story. In the previous books we got little snippets about them, and that always made me curious to know about their history.

I must say that this book wasn’t my favorite book in the series. It really took me a while to get started in this book. I was having difficulties with remembering all of the side characters and the little mystery thingy that was going on. At first it felt like there were a lot of things going on, without me being able to really see the point of them. However, once I was past the 40-50 percent mark the story really started to pick up speed. Finally we see Sloane and Lucian connecting more with each other, which I absolutely adored! They’re so funny with each other and I was always looking forward to their interactions.

The ending of this book felt a liiitle rushed to me, but still it was really beautiful. Lucy Score did an amazing job on wrapping this series up. I’m for sure going to miss Knockemout and all of the people there!

This would be 5 stars if it wasn’t 600 pages. It’s too much

Might be my favorite one of the series. I was obsessed with Lucian and Sloane the entire two other books, and finally getting to hear their story was perfect in every way.

There were A LOT of strings to tie up in this book. I was worried from the beginning that wouldn’t happen. I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with the wrap up. The banter between the two main characters was nice and I did chuckle more than once while reading! I do feel as though the happliy ever after fell a little flat at the end though.

i waited so long for this book and i’m so SO glad it delivered. i will say the beginning was slow for me, it seemed to drag and be a bit redundant. BUT, as lucian started to open up more throughout the book, i was HOOKED. nothing warms my heart more than a broken man finding hope again, and reading lucian do just that made me heart so happy. sloane and lucian have chemistry and banter like no other, and although i love knox and naomi with my whole heart and more, these two are a close second favorite couple of mine. again, i loved things we never got over too much for this book to beat its place, but this book warmed my heart in all the right ways and i couldn’t be happier to have read it. the way lucian would do anything for sloane had me giggling and swooning so hard.
overall the twists, the chemistry, the ending.. everything was just PERFECTION.

i can’t believe the series is over now, this truly will be my new favorite comfort series. i’ll miss reading about these characters so much.
