A sweet ending to a fun series. I was excited to see Sloane and Lucien’s relationship especially with all their interactions from the previous book. I think this book suffers with pacing issues like the other and it follows a pretty predictable plot. I do love the hate dynamic they initially have.

This was in my opinion the best book of the series. It starts out with the death of Sloane's father, which results in the broody Lucian showing up on her doorstep to show support for her mother. Sloane finds out Lucian has been doing something good for her parents but no one will tell her exactly what. They begin a flirty exchange despite usually hating one another, and then slowly start getting attached while thinking their casual fling is secretive. Sloane is visited by a kid who had worked with her father that was trying to get his mother out of jail as she was sentenced far longer than anyone had been for a similar crime. This ends up stirring up trouble for Sloane as she begins receiving threats, which results in Lucian cutting her off.

I felt their dynamic was more realistic and finally getting beneath why the two had so much animosity between them was very satisfying. The ending seemed a bit rushed, but the drama throughout the book makes up for it.

There was so much to enjoy with this one. The first chapter had me tearing up with Sloane’s grief over her father. The emotion continued to build throughout the book with her sizzling chemistry that Lucien brings. Lucien otherwise known as Lucifer was

By far my favorite. I’ve been dying to know what happened with this couple.

Def my favourite book and couple of the series. First of all the build up from the two previous books for this one was wonderful and this one did not disappoint. I love the banter between these two. There were some great heart felt moments; some hilarious moments; some spicy moments and I could not out this down. I love love love the mouths on Lucian and Sloane and they way their story unfolded.
