Loved the first book, I think I just got a little bored of the characters by the second book.

3.5 ⭐️ I really love this series because they still have the mystery/thriller element but they're a bit lighter to read. I didn't love this one as much as the first book in the series but it was still good!

The plot is so involved and complex, but I think Cosimano does a great job weaving the plot and tying everything together at the end. Excited to read the next book in the series!

These books are a good time but imo would be even more of a good time if it embraced the romance that is just begging to happen! Don’t tease us and then keep playing the “why does she need a man” card - I’m here to have fun!

These books are a little too much for me - all the drama and lucky breaks and the flustered lead who somehow excels at everything and had everyone in love with her. That being said, Finlay et al. appear to be growing on me. I think because I knew what I was getting into this time I was able to lean into the fun of it more than the first one. Sometimes it's hard to keep the various characters and plot lines straight, but mostly it is entertaining and the friendship that has grown between Fin and Vero gives this one a bit more weight and backbone than the first. I'll keep reading about their shenanigans, I think.

Hit mom is back! I am excited how this one ended and looking forward to the third book! Also, if you have an opportunity to listen to the audiobooks - I’ve been following along with my physical copy (s/o to the library!!!!) and really enjoy the narration. Which is something to be said - I’m super particular with my audiobooks and if the voice isn’t for my ears than I just cannot.
