Fantastic tear-jerking end to one of my favourite series of the year.

DID NOT FINISH: 6%

Was not feeling it. Couldn't remember anything about book 1 and everything just seemed to confusing. Plus 460 odd pages with tiny font with all that considered????? nah

Audio. Soooo wanted this to be great. Think Hunger Games meets Harry Potter. You’d think it would be awesome.

But, I feel the author was trying so hard to communicate too much.

Book 1 of series was much better. This half took forever for so little. Forced myself to finish.

ugh, i really wanted allistar and isobel to end up together in the first book but they were awful together in this book, im grateful they were with reid and gavin because the plot did not give their relationship together justice. it might have just been me but their two eventual partners shocked me, like i did not see that coming. i don’t remember who the other two characters were because i skipped/rushed thru their chapters because they were very boring. by the end i only started to enjoy isobel’s chapters. that might just be my preference, but everything else was coming to a very unsatisfying end.

I’m really disappointed by this one.

I enjoyed the first book a lot. I liked how the characters slowly became more twisted and everything went to shit. This book felt like the opposite.

I see the message of this book to be that people can change for the better.
I hate it. Its cheesy and so very uninteresting.

The way all the characters paired up felt too forced. I could not sympathize with briony even a little bit (she had a hero complex to the very end). I also found the dismantling of the tournament to be so elementary. There were so many moment that this felt like a middle grade book.

The one redeeming factor for this book was alistair. I am so predictable for liking the tortured anti-hero, but here we are. I liked his relationship with Gavin, though it lacked passion. I wanted to see more to his relationship with isobol as well.

I expected a bit too much from this. A book titled “All of Our Demise,” should have had more angst and drama. I wanted more questionable and morally grey decisions. I guess this is just a typical YA series. Nothing special.
