This was a really good, comprehensive and concise book as someone navigating adulting with adult adhd. Loved that there were mostly one-paged chapters to be read day-wise. The author adopts a compassionate approach on handling care tasks which are chores involving cooking, cleaning, laundry, feeding, dishes, and hygiene, with huge emphasis on the mental side of things by reframing preconceived thoughts and feelings attached to the aforementioned tasks rather than solely focusing on physical tips and tricks

It's comprehensive, gentle and inspiring. Of course there are great practical recommendations and examples of how to reorganize your home. Equally valuable are the phrases and techniques to reframe home care maintenance. I'm glad the author touched on chore trauma and feeling shame for hiring help, as those are not often talked about in the self help space.
