ahh this was so cute and romantic and fun! i really vibed with the art style in this installment, and the writing/characterization were very charming.

I didn't enjoy this book as much as the first one. I felt like they kind of lost the thread of the characters from the movie. This covers the last summer before they are all "separated" by college, and there's also the mystery of stalker-like love notes being left for Summer. I know they had to try to create a romance somewhere, and I suppose they didn't want to rock the boat by breaking up the three girls and their guys from the films, but I think it would have meant more for Dionne and Murray to break up than to try to stay together, long distance, from LA to Novia Scotia. He wasn't worthy of her in the first place!

These are just so adorable and I’m living for this group of friends who give me nostalgia. Also, Summer + Ben forever. I loved the note from Nicole Bilderback and the behind the scenes in the back!
